Hi,
I am trying to install the DirectX9 silently. But it seems the /q does not apply to it anymore. Can anyone give me some hint? THank you very much.

Hi desreeyu,
You need the special OPK version to be able to install DX9 silently. Off the top of my head I can't remember the correct switches but I am sure a bit of searching with Google should find these easily enough.
You can only get this file from Microsoft if you are a registered user of the OEM site, but there are a few mirrors around. This one seems to be working:

Hope this helps.

Hi, Optic,
THank you very much. I have tested it on the English OS, it update Dx version to 9.0. Could you tell me what is a OPK version? Is this version works for all language? Thank you.

OPK = OEM Preinstallation Kit.
In this case, it is a kit of Software/Tools, etc put together by Microsoft for OEMs (System Builders).
