I have to port an Installshield install to MSI (and I'm learning both at the same time), so right now I'm documenting *what* the current IS install is doing so I know what I need to do in MSI.

Anyhow, I ran into this:

Enable( CORECOMPONENTHANDLING );

So I try the built-in IS help; nothing. I then search the net; so far, nothing. Can anyone here point me to a good source of documentation so I can figure out just what that line is doing, and furthermore, so I have somewhere to look when I run into the next thing I don't understand?

If I recall correctly it's responsible for not uninstalling system files, or something like that. Anyway, no need to care about this, Windows Installer hanldes this automatically.
