I have been using a certain Win2000 system for building my product using my .ism file (which gets packaged as .msi, setup.exe and a data1.cab file). I was able to successfully build my product.

But subsequently, I tried building the same .ism file in a WinXP machine. I get the .msi, setup.exe and data1.cab file successfully. But during installation, the InstallShield Wizard does not display properly and truncates or chops off characters in the wizard display.

Is this problem because of the machine change? What is the source of the problem. What could I do to undo it?

Does the newly built msi use a different font? Did you change anything in the project (like using a skin for the dialogs)? Do you have the same service packs for InstallShield installed on the new machine?
