I am making an INSTALL wherein it installs MSDE (InstallShield MSDE 2000 Object for NT Platforms ), then installs my application, attaches the devices to the SQL server and then configures the SQL server.
What I require after this is to restart the SQL Server.
How can I achieve this.
Thanks
MP

Stop the SQL Service
Start the SQL Service
The actual service name depends on the instance name.

Where can I start and stop the service?
Where in the installation sequence would it come? WHat is the code required? I am a bit of a NEWBIE to this.
Please guide me through this.
Thanks

The docs of your InstallShield version should contain a lot about this subject.
