I am using InstallShield Professional 6 on NT platform. I have 6 components on my web servers. I need the ability to install upgraded software to specific components without modifying the other components.
Any insight to this issue would be appreciated.

For starters, you'll want any updates to have unique GUIDs. You'll also have to deal with the additional uninstalls that get created with each setup.

You can have both: updating some components and some not, without having uninstalled these.
All components have to be selected, then you can filter the filegroups of the components that you neither want to update nor uninstall on filegroup-level.
