I have a nested msi package that I must have done something wrong with and now it won't uninstall. The error I am getting during uninstall is that the "updates already exist" a message received from my nested installation package because it thinks I am trying to install it again. I tried fixing it in the local msi database but nothing seems to work. When executing an uninstall, what is being executed and how can I fix my problem?

Hello shippy,
I agree with you.
My current experiences show the same result.
No possible standard uninstall.
No uninstall by MSISPY.
The last help was MSIZAP.
All the nested installation CAs ( 7, 23, 39 ) aren't running as defined.
My setup wth CA 23 wasn't running on Win XP with WI 2.0.
The installation and uninstallation by calling the MSI file itself ran without objection.
Regards!
Johannes
