Can we use MSIGETFEATURESTATE function in Deferred Custom action in system context.
I have modified some Immediate Custom action to deferred custom action in my "Basic MSI" project. Earlier I was getting the right values for all the MSIGETFEATURESTATE function in the "Immediate execution" Custom action as 3 which I used to right the entries in log files, after updating the Custom Action into Deferred Execution in System context I am not getting the right values.
I am using InstallShield 2010

That's because deferred custom actions do not have access to all the values in the MSI database. Do a search for "CustomActionData" in the IS and Windows Installer documentation to get the instructions you'll need to pass data into a deferred custom action.
