On October 11, 2004 Caphyon LLC released a new version of their Windows Installer authoring tool Advanced Installer. Version 2.0 adds support for .Net and Win32 assemblies and side-by-side installation on Windows XP, enabling multiple versions of the same component to run simultaneously on the system. Further improvements on the user interface keep Advanced Installer as one of the easiest to use and most powerful Windows Installer authoring tools.
