Hi y'all
I created an CDRom type installation, which launches some child installations through custom actions. Everything works fine, unless I want to uninstall.
I'm prompted to browse for the msi file... the only way to uninstall is by inserting the original CD... normally the msi should be cached on disk or am I missing something? When I ignore, I get the error 1706.
Help appreciated...
Regards
Daniel

Is it asking for the parent MSI or for the child install?
Do you have the ResoveSource action in your Install UI and/or Execute sequence? If yes, is it conditioned properly to make sure it is NOT executed during uninstall?
