Setting the .exe GUI as a parent to the installati

Hi friends.
In my installation after ready to install am launching one x.exe.(this x.exe developed in visual basic)before starting the services. Here the problem is as soon as launching the x.exe this X.exe GUI going back side of the installation custom dialog. Because of this the customer felling that the installation got struck
So please tell me any one how to make the x.exe gui as a parent to the installation custom dialog.
And also I tried using GetWindowHandle (HWND_INSTALL) function .but here the problem is the x.exe GUI coming attached to the installation dialog. So because of this the customer not possible to select the OK push button.

This is venkatesh.Iam from Andhra pradesh.Iam also working in install shield from the past one year.Can I have ur contact#, I have few doubts regarding Basic MSI.
