Hello All,
Is there a way by which when I install my applcation using installshield developer 8.0 to avoid creating registry entries at
1.HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{PRODUCT_ID}
2.HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\InstallShield Uninstall Information\{PRODUCT_ID}
3.HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\InstallShield_{PRODUCT_ID}
Thanks

I think that entries 2 and 3 inly are created for an InstallScript MSI (aka "Standard") project, not for Basic MSI.
In a Basic MSI project you can set the ARPSYSTEMCOMPONENT property to hide your application from the Add/Remove Programs control panel (on Win 2000 or above), but I don't think you can prevent the other entries under key 1.
