When my system already has application installed.. in that case on running setup it ask for upgrade.. since i have changes in version no.
on upgrading the files are replaced perfectly when i have the properties set for all the files as "Overwrite".. but there is no change in the version no in registry..
I want to change the version no also on upgarde..
Is there any way to handle that through installscript..
My project type is Installscript MSI.. and all the registry setting is done through installScript..
Thanks in Advance...

Alok,
but there is no change in the version no in registry
What exactly do you mean by stating that there is no change in the version number in the registry? Which registry key are you referring to?
Is it your own registry or something created by the installer?
What is the registry location?
Once you provide clarity on the above questions, probably we can think of a solution.
