Hi. 

 

I'm working with at setup right now, and after building it I got to Error. 

 

Error 1024 - The Source file "C:\Setups\Stål EU\GWSTABJ.ICO" for Icon "86140255_3C87_A4E2_A4E4_648AC8E108AE does not exist.

 

I'm trying to find this Icon without any luck. 

 

I have changed all the .exe files, all the shortcut icons, and all the file assoisated icons. 

 

Is there any way to search in my setup where I can find this Icon? 

 

Or is there something in the error string that reveals where to look?? 

 

I NEED HELP!!! This is driving me crazy!

Have you tried searching in your source files? Of course, this depends on the tool you are using.

Hi. Yes I have searched for this icon file in my source files, but I don't have it. And i have done some investigation, and this is a very old icon file and we don't use it anymore.... So it's not suppose to excist either. 

I'm now wondering if this has any thihg to say for the setup file. 

 

It works fine on my VM, the icons are correct and the program starts, so in theory this is okey. 

 

I'm just curious on where it refers to this icon. I really can't find it. 

 

I'm using Installshield 2014 spring professional.

No, I didn't mean to look for the icon file. I meant: Search the installation project file for a reference to that icon. In InstallSHield go to Direct Editor, there you can do a full text search.
