When my setup files get copied over to the target i lose the version info (what Windows explorer displays in files properties as 'Revision Number').
How do i get Install Shield to retain this number even after being copied onto the target system.
Any ideas?

I take it this is some custom field you have because typically one refers to it as a build number and has it incorporated into the version number (e.g. Major.Minor.Fix.Build).
In any case, how are you copying these files? Is it automatically through file groups or manually through XCopy? Also, what OS is the target system running? Finally, does the same thing if you just copy the file through Explorer?
