Hi,
I have one MSI say "WordConverter_NoHelpDocs.msi" .
This does not have help files.
I have one mergemodule with documents "WCHelp.msm"
How can i include this "Mergemodule" with that "WordConverter_NoHelpDocs.msi"
and ned to generate "WordConverter.msi".
please help.
Note: The fist MSi is generated first--> then "mergemodule " genration.
i have no option to build mergemodule before that MSI creation. that to This MSI is genearting from different VOB.

Use Orca, InstEd or another similar app. Open a copy of the MSI with this app and include the MSM.

but , this should be as part of build process.
Can we generate "WordConverter_NoHelpDocs.wsi" from WordConverter_NoHelpDocs.msi .
i am using "FinalBuilder4" for the build process.
Any suggestions !

I don't know, why you're going to build a WSI from a MSI. WSI. In my opinion a WSI is the Wise source file to build a MSI package. Is it not possible to open a MSI in Wise an save as WSI?
To your main problem. I'm using Finalbuilder 6 and with this app it is possible to create a merged MSI. Look for the action "MSI Merge". Additional you can using a VBS to create a merged MSI. Look for the topic 'Using Automation to Merge a Merge Module into a Database' from the MSI help file.
