I was told that windows installer does not support unicode languages. Is that true? If indeed that is true then it is a big demerit because there are so many unicode languages that the Windows environment iteself supports but windows installer does not. If it is not supported does anyone know when it will be supported? How can I include a unicode language [translation] file in a windows installer setup?

thanks.

To my knowledge it is supported, but not on Windows 95/98/Me (You had to install the Ansi version of the Windows Installer on these OSes).

Beware of certain other limitations, for instance when you have file (or folder) names with non-Ansi symbols it won't install on certain file systems. Apart from that not all authoring environments support Unicode all too well.
