I am new to msi and very much used to using installscript.
Could you please let me know what are the alternatives for installscript sdShowMsg & MessageBox in basic msi and how can i call them in msi.

SdShowMsg displays a dialog without stopping the install, i.e. it procedes in the background. ou can do the same in MSI. See the SetupInitialization dialog as example.
