Text from file is not displayed in the ScrollableText control.
I'm trying to configure LicenseAgreement standart dialog.
It has ScrollableText conrtol, named "Memo"
I changed "File Name" property of this control to my "license.rtf" file. Atfer this action text from this file appeared in this contol.
But when I built the release and executed the installation I saw LicenseAgreement dialog with empty text.

Any ideas ?

Thank you in advance.

Is your license agreement really in RTF format, or just a TXT file renamed to RTF? Open the file in WordPad or Word and save it in RTF format and see if that helps.

I created the document in Word. And this is real rtf.
It didn't work.
After this I created the txt file, renamed it to rtf and opened it in Word.
This is didn't help me.
I'll try to do it in WordPad. But I gess it is not real problem.
InstallShield displays the text from the selected file on the design time, and doesn't show it on the run time.

Thanks.

The InstallShield IDE can display impropery formatted RTF files (including renamed TXT files), but the Windows Installer engine falls over at runtime. Does the default RTF file that comes with InstallShield work?

Thank you.
You are right. It's seems that my rtf file wasn't correct rtf.
I created the new blank Word document, enter my text and saved it as rtf.
Now the dialog works.
