Hi all
I am doing a system search via the wizard to find the MSSQL folder on a server. In the system search wizard I have set the following : -
* folder name to search for is MSSQL
* look in all drives
* number of sub folders to search = 0
I am having bother with the sub folders parameter. Surely 0 means that no subfolders will be searched? The normal location for our customers mssql folder is on the root of a drive (e.g. c:\mssql) and this is the path I am looking for.
Recently, it is returning c:\program files\microsoft sql server\mssql$bkupexec but that is within a subfolder structure, so why is this path being found?
can anyone advise please, thanks
Donna

Double check the actual data in the built .msi file using direct edit mode or Orca, table DrLocator.
