Hi,
I have a 64-bit install using IS7.04. I want to setup our driver in the WinXP 64-bit. I have read some website about this issue. And now, I have some questions ask you. BTW, your Email address I found in the following address.
http://forum.install...opic=7486&hl=64
I have the Template Summary defined as “Intel64;1033” and set my project’s components as “64-bit”. Test this install package under WinXP 64-bit. Display error:
Error: -1633 This installation package is not supported by this processor type. Contact your product vendor.
My test platform is AMD 64 Athlon 64 Processor 2.20GHz 3500+, 256MB of RAM. And the motherboard is MS-6702E VER: 1, K8T Neo 2.
I notice my CPU is not Intel, and I change Template Summary defined as “AMD64;1033”. InstallShield build error:
** Error: -5008: Intel64 must be specified in the template of the Summary Stream
Finally, I use “AMD64,Intel64;1033”, it display another error message, which means the release .msi file error.
What shall I do? I need this package to install...
My building platform is:
WinXP 32-bit Professional, Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.00GHz, 512 MB of RAM.
Shall I build this project in 64-bit platform?
Thanks,
Daniel

I'm not sure if you can have both AMD64 and Intel64 in the summary field. MSI 3.1 you can use x64 instead.
I'm not sure if your version of InstalLShield already supported AMD64 at all. Also there's a know problem documented here:
