The ADAM (Active Directory Application Mode) installer from Microsoft allows the user to install it multiple times. Each time they install it, they specify an instance name. Each installation is then listed in add remove programs (ADAM Instance MyInstance).
Is this possible to do with InstallShield?

MSI has a feature called Multi Instance Trabsforms to enable multiple installations, but only a limited number of instances. You can read about it in MSI help (note that it has some limitations). You can use this method with InstallShield.

Yes, the ADAM setup uses windows installer. Or at least it looks very much like it to me.

InstallScript projects in InstallShield (that don't use Windows Installer) have a much nicer multi-instance functionality than MSI.
