I have an InstallScript MSI project that includes the Jet 4.0 MM, which has a dependency on the MDAC 2.6 MM. Everything was fine until we tested an install on Windows 2003. I got an error message saying that MDAC 2.6 could not be installed. I understand that Win2003 includes MDAC 2.8, what do I need to do to get my setup kit to install Jet?

I have a similar problem. My project uses JET 4 and MDAC 2.7. I have solved it in part by using the MDAC2.7 .MSM file from Installshield and running the Jet4 SP8 .EXE wrapper seperately. This is less than perfect, and I'm trying to find a way to convert the Jet 4.0 SP8 .EXE wrapper into a .MSM file that I can put into the Installer Project.

Shouldn't that problem be fixed in the latest version of the merge modules that you can download from InstallShield?
