I am getting "Error 1406. Could not write value to key..."

Hi,
I had the same problem when I tryed to write value in registry [HKLM]\[NewKey]. And I have any problem when I tryed to write in [HKLM]\Software\[NewKey].
Try to set property ALLUSER=1, in this case you will install your product for all users on this machine not for only logon user. If it still doesn't work read MSi documentation about the installation per machine and per user. You can set this option to change special values in registry (unfortunatly I don't remember exacly which). Antwhere try to find something like "NSI installation per machine..."
Maybe it will be usefull.
