I have created a launch condition that checks for a registry key using the AppSearch and RegLocator tables.
When I install the package with /qb the LaunchCondition works. If the registry key is present the install works, but if it is not present the info dialog box comes up and ends the install.
However, if I use /qr or /qf I get different behaviour. If the registry key is not present then the dialog box comes up straight away. If the registry key is present then the UI starts, but then shows the dialog box and ends the install.
In both the InstallExecuteSequence and the InstallUISequence I have the rows:
AppSearch 25
LaunchConditions 50
So they should both behave the same way.
Does anyone have any ideas on this?
