Hello!!!
I install an application on Win98. This installation use 2 mst files.
The TRANSFORMS property is set by a Custom Action launched in user interface.
On Win98, the property is set and no mst files are used.
This methode work very well on an other OS
Somebody can indicate me if he
can anyone tell me if he has ever met this problem? And how is it possible to do that?
Thank you in advance.

I don't think you can add transform from inside your running setup (why would you by the way?)
It may work on NT/2000/XP because the UI and Execute sequences run in two different processes. On 95/98/Me however both sequences run in the same process.

Hello!!!
During the installation of my application, you can choose between 2 profils, which modify the values of registry keysand the name of some files to install. (They are predefined in the package MSI)
According to what you told me, if i understand, on Win 98, a .mst file must apply before the execution of the package MSI ????
I have on other problem:
When I install it in quiet mode, on Win 2000 Server, no .mst file is applied !!!!
But the property TRANSFORMS is correctly set with the complete path of the .mst file.
thanks for you first answer.
Ps: Excuse me for my English, but i'm a french.

Makes sense: in a silent install there's only 1 process, even on 2000.

Don't use transforms. Use properties and conditions. Or generate two different MSIs
