I am getting Internal Error 2343 when I run the BlackICE MSI package that I created using Admin Studio 5, Developer 8 SP2. I found the knowledgebase article (Q108093) and I did what the article said but no luck. I do not get any error when I build the MSI but I do get the following error when I run "Full MSI Validation"

Im also gettinjg this error. I successfully packaged and compiled the msi but when I try to install it i get the Internal Error 2343. I have made no changes to the msi at all. The install log gives me this information:

(SERVER) MSI (s) (C8:F8): Doing action: WriteIniValues
(UNKNOWN) Action start 12:08:48: WriteIniValues.
(UNKNOWN) GenerateScript: Writing INI file values...
(SERVER) MSI (s) (C8:F8): Note: 1: 2343
(UNKNOWN) DEBUG: Error 2343: Specified path is empty.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

2343 means that the Specified path is empty.

Check the registry table to see that you have not set and empty value.

If you get Invalid default dir, then try changing this folder name over.
