I have Win XP with SP2, InstallShield 6.31
IS is causing me a problem... how can I get rid of it??? I tried installing IS11 on the top of it but did not help...

So why are you posting in the InstalLShield Exrtess forum?
First find out which installshield product and version you are using.
Then note the exact error message or other symptoms.
Finally post that in the section of the forum that applies to your product and version.
