I have a product developed in InstallShield Professional 7. I have the .ipr file. Where can I look for the upgrade code in that? Also is there any way where I can install the product and know the upgrade code? Thanks.

InstallShield Professional 7 doesn't use Windows Installer (MSI) technologies. So these are two separate worlds. There's no automatic upgrade mechanism from a Pro/ to a MSI setup. Instead you should launch the uinstall command of the Pro7 setup using a custom action. You can find the uninstall command in the Uninstall section of the registry.
