What are the reasons that people can think of why an unversioned file does not get overwritten. The modified date and the creation date of the file on the system are the same, the new file has a later creation date. No conditions are involved. I am stuck.
Other files in other features get replaced by newer files but I can see what the difference is.
Any guesses appreciated,
Dave.

I'm using InstallShield Windows Installer ID8 to Quickpatch
FYI - The only difference I can see that the non-versioned files that are not getting installed have conditions on them but I assumend (dangerous! that by setting Reevaluate condition = No then this condition wont matter during patching and reinstall?
Thanks,
Dave.

Are the files really different (not just the date stamp)? Have the hash table entries been updated properly?
