Delete Files and folders through a Custom Action?

I am using Install shield AdminStudio2. I am wanting to delete a shortcut created in the startmenu during the install via a 3rd party app. I have been told that using a custom action would be the best/only way. Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

Hi,
You can
1 add file names in the RemoveFiles table or
2 write any C++ code to remove these files from the computer, create a custom action with this code, set conditions as REMOVE="ALL".
