replacing old application

We created an msi package which on running installs the application in program files and an .adp file on the desktop.

However, it is not replacing the existing .adp file on the desktop (they have the same name).

Pls help

You will probably need to run the install with verbose logging to find out why this is happening.

Its possible that the file is being placed in another users desktop folder.
