Hi ,
While validation for Vista in ORCA i am getting Error 99. Its says that you can't use [WindowsVolume] property. One of the feature uses this property for installation of few files where windows is installed.
Is there any equivalent property for WindowsVolume ?
This error is not observed for XP validation suite.
Regards,
Amarjeet

What's the exact error message? Do you have WindowsVolume defined in the Directory table (you shouldn't)?

I have windowsvolume in directory table.
I am installing one of my component in [WindowsVolume]test\Data directory.
Alternately is there any way to find out WindowsVolume on destination computer.
Is thers way i can rename WindowsVolume ? and still able to install at WindowsVolume ?
I used PRIMARYVOLUMEPATH , but its not working.
Its quite unfortunate that micrsoft says you can't use WindowsVolume, as its reserved keyword.
But diplays WindowsVolume as property on MSDN help

You can't define WindowsVolume in the Directory table but maybe you can reference it. If that doesn't work, use a custom name (like MyWindowsVolume) as destination for your component, and use a custom action to set it to the value [WindowsVolume]
