I'm investigating the available products for the distirubution of some server software that we develop. We have access to all the systems we install to and as such would like to 'push' fresh installs, patchs and service packs onto them. Ihave seen with Admin Studio and the Wise Packaging Studio that you can rollout software to coporate networks and i assume that you can also rollout patchs etc... These products though have a lot of re-packaging in them also. Does anyone know of any install products\technologies worth investigating that are about pushing installations to servers?

Wise and Installshield don't actually push the software, they just create MSI packages. These can be pushed using Active Directory/Group Policy in a Windows network. If you need to push software that you developed in-house then you don't need the repackagers. But both Wise and InstallSheld (and others) have tools that you can use to develop (author) MSI based setups, see http://www.installsi...g/go/msidev.htm .
There are other pushing technologies besides active directory, such as Microfot SMS (Systems Management Server). If you are using SMS then you can download a limited edition of AdminStudio free of charge.
