i am trying to read values from
hklm\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Control\\Session Manager
i'm using the RegLocator table in conjunction with AppSearch.
and the msi log says that i'm getting a
System error 87. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personel.
a requirement for my install is that you are a system administrator on the machine and i verified that i have admin rights. why wouldn't the install have rights to this key?

Can you post your exact RegLocator table entries? Maybe there's something wrong with them.
