I copy dll in th system 32 directory! They shold be only copied if the Verion is newer or the same!
I saw that some Files wehre copied even if they hav a younger version ? Is tha possible ? It happened on Windws 2003 kna it be that this old Version does not can read the Versioncorrektly in newer Windows Verions )

The only thing I can think of is that you may have set the REINSTALLMODE property equal to "amus". Try changing it to "omus".

Glytzhkof - if tak is really using InstallShield Professional 5 then there is no REINSTALLMODE, this is pure InstallScript.
tak - what's in the overwrite properties of that component (or file group, don't remember exactly where this setting was in version 5). It should say newer version/newer date.
