I am trying to perform an upgrade by reinstalling. I have created the new install package as per the instructions found in the "Minor and Major Upgrades Using IPWI - Section1: Upgrading by reinstalling" article (in fact I have done this about a half dozen times now!. Yet when I run the new setup.exe, NONE of my files get updated. Has something been omitted from this article? Or am I a complete idiot and I'm overlooking something obvious? Please HELP!!!

I bet a verbose log file will tell you why Windows Installer thinks there's nothing to update.

Thanks. I didn't have to use it after all but that is definitely something that will come in handy. I don't quite know what happened but I just deleted my project and started over and wouldn't you know it... it worked! I must have screwed up somewhere along the way. Again, thanks
