Microsoft has released a hotfix for Windows Installer 4.5 to fix a problem where msi.dll might stop responding when trying to install some software. The hotfix only applies to MSI 4.5 on Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 (all service pack levels). For more information please see my blog at http://msmvps.com/bl...erver-2008.aspx
