I wanted to make a project, with three features. User must be able to go to custom installation screen and able to check and select the features he wanted to install .......... what all the things am I need to do for this.. like installing only those particual files...........please help ...im new with installshield.....

You could create three top level components. Remember however that you will have only one entry in control panel, and only one product GUID, i.e. you cannot update these applications separately (you will have to build one update for the complete packge)
So a better way might be to create three setups, and use a front end (e.g. DemoShield) to invoke them.
