Self register component cannot be found

Hi,
In the Event Log viewer of the PC the msi installer logs an event that the self register component could not be found.
I am in a fix about the root cause of the problem.
Help is highly appreciated.

This is not enough information to determine what is going on. Please elaborate. Full error message is the minimum needed to make any sense of it I am afraid.
