Two bits of information Microssoft posted in today's MSI chat:
The MSI 3.0 redistributable is not yet available and it's uncertain when it will be. When asked for an approximate release time frame (is it a matter of days, weeks, months...?) program manager Tyler Robinson replied:
"We are working hard on the redistributable, but we do not have a timeframe to communicate at this point."
It was also announced that Windows Installer 3.1 will be part of the Windows Server 2003 SP1 release and one of its features will be the Intel x64 and AMD64 support.
