Can anyone provide a simple way to set the Web Application Folder's Virtual Directory property to NULL? I am assuming that you need to write a .dll with the MSIHANDLE as a parameter and set the CA type =1, but from there I'm a bit lost. The MS documentation says to set the property to null to install your web app to the root directory of the web site (not the virtual directory below it).

I am unfamiliar with the specifics of Web application installations. However, the normal way to undefine a property is to assign it {}. Examples:
TEST = {}
This does not set the property to null, but undefines it. Not sure if it helps you.
