Hi

I want to use patch on my application's config file.
but the problem is that the config file is being changed after installing the application on different mahines (i.e. the config file hold the computer name of the machine).
when I am building the patch i use the unmodified config file.
so when i trying to apply the patch it wont chaneg this config file.

Is there any way of creating a patch over that king of files ?

Delete the existing config file before installing the new file (RemoveFile table or custom action). Be sure to include the whole config file in your patch.
