I have basic msi installer. For installation of this required admin privileges.I also set condition for this in my msi.

But i face a problem.

I have a window 7 64 bit machine and i also have admin privileges. If i run my msi "as administrative" then it will install successfully and run my services .

But if run my msi on single click then it shows some problem some time and if msi installed then service is not installed.

So how can i restrict single click only option is right click and run as administrator.

i got it for Setup.exe for this one change setting Required Execution Level - Use this setting in the Releases mode to adminsistrator but this one is worked with "setup.exe".

i want same setting in ".msi" option also.

Please suggest any solution.

Is there a setting for single-click installs to require admin rights?  Look in the releases view under setup.exe tab.

Is "require Administrative Privileges" under General Information set to yes?

Did you generate a log to find out what is actually causing the problem? (Installing services should work)
