I believe the answer is *no*, but I wanted to verify with the experts...
Is it possible to embed a patch into an MSI, and then apply the patch (maybe via a custom action) when that MSI is running?

I am not sure exactly how they are doing this, but I saw it done in an Adobe Acrobat hotfix once. You can try to download a sample patch here and check what kind of custom actions they are using: http://www.adobe.com...580&fileID=3366
