I wonder (and hope!) someone will be able to tell me how to get past this error.
A few days ago i was trying a few CAs to get my application to launch whenever the installation was finished. (it was a CA that launches the application, installed with the product and then a commit execution and i also tried a deferred execution.)
I placed the CA in the seqence after Installfinalize, and the one with the deferred execution gave me a nasty error.
Now i have a real problem as no matter what I do, I cant get any installation to go on or off cleanly.
I tried a RegClean, I tried deleting all the components manually, I tried installing over it, everything i could think of.
However whenever i put a new installation on top, it gives me the same error 2743 CA_Name, even though that CAis not in that installation at all.
Is an installation stored somewhere that it trys to execute a CA from another installation?
Does anyone have any idea how i would get around this - i do not want to reinstall the Operating System as our techie guy will kill me !!!
