Product: IS 2008
Is there a feature within IS2008 through which I can change displays on the Installation dialog during the installation (probably on the dialog where files are copied etc).
I am referring to displays like features of the product etc. that a user can read while the install is in progress.
I would appreciate any documents/help referenced on how this can be implemented

The functionality you are looking for is called "billboards". indows Installer has tables to support billboards, but most setups don't use them these days.
There's no support for Billboards in Basic MSI projects in InstallShield. You would have to add the billboard control in the dialog editor, and populare the appropriate tables in Direct Editor.
