When using orca to create msi files, I cannot ask for the creation of a folder that use dot inside its name as "1.0" because the dot has a special meaning with orca. Is there a trick to create such folders ?
Thanks,
Alan

The STRING "." has special meaning in Windows Installer, I've just tried to create such a directory in Orca and it had no problem letting me do so...

Thank you very much because your answer help me to solve my problem. I was trying to create 1.0.0 named folder (not 1.0), it was not correct because only one dot is accepted with standard folder name (short name). So using 1.0|1.0.0 as DefaultDir is Ok to create 1.0.0 Folder Name in case of long name.
Thanks a lot,
