A new virus is spreading rapidly and has been assigned high alert levels by anti-virus vendors, under different names:
McAfee: W32/Mydoom@MM (High-Outbreak)
F-Secure: Mydoom/Shimgapi/Novarg (Radar Alert LEVEL 1)
Symantec: W32.Novarg.A@mm (Category 4)
Note that this virus arrives in a .ZIP attachement, thus bypassing the .exe blocking/filtering functionality in many e-mail systems.
Another virus is also arriving frequently in my inbox:
McAfee: W32/Dumaru.y@MM (Medium)
F-Secure: Dumaru.Y (Radar Alert LEVEL 2)
Symantec: W32.Dumaru.Y@mm (Category 2)
So if you haven't updated your virus signatures within the past 12 hours or so, it's a good idea to do it now.

Yeah, being my work's network admin, I've been getting bounced messages containing those worms for the past 12 hours and last night I warned our employees about it.
My virus scanner has been on top of it though.
