I am trying to perform an admin only installation with Install Shield Dev 7.0 on Win 2003.I need to show an error message when a normal user clicks on setup.exe.I have used Is (USER_ADMINISTRATOR) check in the OnBegin event.

But the problem is that as soon as a non admin clicks on the setup.exe we get an error message saying that the he doesnt have permissions to run the msi file.I want to give my message there.Is there any event before OnBegin.

Your help will be highly appreciated as I am running short of time .Need to complete this ASAP.Please help me.

I am using a Standard Project.

Which project type are you using? "Basic MSI" or "InstallScript MSI"?
