Hi,

I have created a patch for a basic msi application. How can i execute a patch(update.exe) from a basic msi project.

You cannot reasonably invoke a patch from a msi. You should invoke the patch externally.

By launching msiexec.exe or by running update.exe (if you generated a update.exe for your patch)
